This unisex midweight fleece hoodie features one of SMOE NOVA’s most meaningful artworks: the SMOENA LISA. Painted first in an abandoned factory as a real full-color portrait, and only then pixelated later, to create a digital blur that feels strangely real. On the front, a bold handstyle tag reads “You see what you see”, echoing the core idea behind the piece: perception is personal, unstable, and shaped by what we already know.
This artwork was born during SMOE’s massive pixel staircase project — a project that was supposed to take nine days but turned into twenty-five days of nonstop painting, rethinking, recalculating, and reflecting on the digital age we live in. An age where anything can be real or fake, restored or distorted, enhanced or destroyed with a few clicks. But real art is different. Real art takes time.
So instead of pixelating the Mona Lisa with Photoshop or a single AI prompt, SMOE painted her by hand first — the long way, the hard way, the right way — because art is love and dedication, and understanding changes what we see.
On the back of the hoodie, the pixelated SMOENA LISA sits perfectly centered, clean and crisp, with her blocky digital disguise. On the front, the dripping tag anchors the piece in pure graffiti culture. Together, they tell the full story.
